VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

We love Volunteers and can't run this organization without them!

Our #1 priority is the safety of our youth.
Therefore, all Volunteers (including Managers/Head Coaches, Assistants, Umpires, Helpers at practice, Team Parents, Scorekeepers, and the like) are required to complete a background check. Please take the following steps to get background checked:


STEP 1: 
   You need to volunteer for your intended position on our LLL website and by completing the ON-LINE application. When you register your player, the system will ask if you're interested in volunteering.  If you indicate yes, the system will take you through several additional steps during registration.  OR You can opt to volunteer via our website using your sports connect account and choose to become a volunteer. 

STEP 2: 
  Please contact the league Saftey Officer (contact information can be found on our League Officers page) this will prompt the Saftey Officer to log you with JDP.  JDP is Little League International's background check service. Once the Saftey Officer confirms your information, you will receive an e-mail questionnaire from JDP that you must complete.
