Minor Divisions
The Minor Division of Little League Baseball(ages 7-10) is one of the most important steps in the Little League career for players and parents. The Minor Division encompasses varying levels of developmental play, and Little League strongly encourages adapting play through the use of coach pitch or machine pitch, shortening games, and increasing practice opportunities, to provide young baseball and softball players a fun, active experience.
For a point of clarification, the Minor Division of Little League Baseball provides program opportunities for children ages seven to ten, depending on experience and local league structure. Tee Ball, AAA Minors, AA Minors, Farm(colloquial) are terms used to describe local leagues structure of their programs within the Minor Divisions. It's essential for players, parents, and volunteers to have an understanding of the factors involved in balancing these programs to ensure the goals. Developing fundamental skills and the fun of the game.
With this in mind, Linden Little League will focus on the development of fundamental skills and continued learning the fun of the game. The board will encourage uniformity in applying the methods, techniques and skills development for each program. And seeks to ensure that all find an opportunity.
